GitLab CIでApp Store Connectにアプリをデプロイする

GitLab + AppStoreConnect

普段はGitHabを利用しているのですが、たまたまGitLabでiOSアプリをデプロイする必要が生じたので備忘録としてメモしておきます。

主な手順は公式ドキュメントを参考にしました。

なのでこれがすんなり読める方は多分この記事は不要です。

必要なもの

  • Apple Developer Programに加入しているApple ID
  • Apple App Store Connect Portalで作成したプライベートキー
    • 作成の手順についてはここを参照
    • URL自体がわからない人はここで直接キーが作成できる

GitLab

  1. 左のサイドバーからSearch or go toでプロジェクト検索
  2. Settings > Integrationsを選択
  3. Apple App Store Connectを選択
  4. Enable Integrationの下からActiveにチェックを入れる
  5. 以下の情報を入力する
    • Issuer ID
    • Key ID
    • Private key
    • Protected branches and tags only
  6. Save changesで保存する

ここでTest settingsを押してConnection successfulと表示されれば成功です。

これをすれば以下の環境変数が利用可能になります。

  • $APP_STORE_CONNECT_API_KEY_ISSUER_ID
  • $APP_STORE_CONNECT_API_KEY_KEY_ID
  • $APP_STORE_CONNECT_API_KEY_KEY
    • Base64エンコードされた秘密鍵
  • $APP_STORE_CONNECT_API_KEY_IS_KEY_CONTENT_BASE64
    • 常にtrueが入る

.gitlab-ci.ymlに悪意のあるコードがプッシュされると$APP_STORE_CONNECT_API_KEY_KEYなどの変数が外部のサーバーに送信される可能性があるので、注意すること。

Fastlane

で、ここまできたらFastlaneでこれらのコードを利用したいですよね。

なのでまずはXcodeで適当なプロジェクトを作成します。

今回はTestAppとかいうそのまんまな名前を使いました。作成したらとりあえずGitLabにプッシュしておきます。

iOS Beta deployment using fastlaneという内容が今回求められているものだと思うのでこれを読みましょう。

導入

まずはfastlaneがインストールされている必要があります。

  • Homebrew(macOS)
    • brew install fastlane
  • System Ruby + RubyGem(macOS/Linux/Windows)
    • sudo gem install fastlane

どちらかのコマンドでインストールできますが、普通はmacOSを使っていると思いますしSystem Rubyを利用すると権限でいろいろうるさいのでHomebrewを大人しく使います。

インストールができたらfastlane initで初期化します。

のような表示が出てきます。今回やりたいのはベータ版をTestFlightにアップロードする作業ですので、2を選択します。

のような表示が続き、Apple IDの入力を求められます。

ログインを試みると6桁のワンタイムパスワードが要求されるのでそれを入力します。

複数のチームに所属している場合はどのチームを利用するかを選択する必要があります。

今回は適当に作ったアプリなのでApple Developer Portalにまだアプリがないと言われます。ここで作成することもできるのでyを入力してついでに作ってもらいましょう。

作成できると、App Store Connect用のfastlaneを作成するかと問われます。ついでに作ってもらいたいのでやはりyを入力します。

言語は勝手にen-USが設定されたのですが利用しているmacOSの設定によっては変わるかもしれません。

この後、作成に失敗したりでよくわからないエラーが発生したので再度fastlane initを実行したので結果が異なるかもしれません。

続けていると以下のようなメッセーが表示されました。

特に重要なところもないので脳死でエンターキーを連打します。

Matchfile

Tutorial: iOS CI/CD with GitLabによるとMatchfileも別途必要だそうです。

今回、レポジトリ名がhttps://gitlab.com/tkgstrator/apple-appstore-connect-test**だったのでGitLab Projectにはtkgstrator/apple-appstore-connect-test**を指定し、GitLab Hostはデフォルト設定なのでそのままエンターキーを押します。

セルフホストしている場合はホスト名を指定してください。

するとfastlane/Matchfileが作成され、以下のような内容が書いてあります。

Project Access Token

次にGitLabのプロジェクトの設定からアクセストークンを発行します。

RoleでMaintainerを選択してスコープにはapiの権限さえついていれば良いようです。

発行した値を覚えておきましょう。

このままfastlane match developmentで発行してもよいのですがそのままやると環境変数が読み込めないのでMakefileと.envを作成します。

また、.envは以下のようにします。

この状態でmake matchを実行すると開発環境用のプロビジョニングが作成できます。

GitLabのプロジェクトページをひらいてSettings > CI/CD > Secure Filesにファイルが作成されていれば成功です。

Xcode

このままだと自動署名が実行されてしまうのでTestApp.xcodeprojをひらいてAutomatically manage signingのチェックを外します。

外したらProvisioning Profileからmatch Developmentと表示されているものを選択します。

二つあると思うのですが、多分どっちを選んでも大丈夫です。

Fastfile

ここでfastlane/Fastfileをひらいてみます。

こうすることでビルド番号を上げながらTestFlightにアップロードができます。

バージョニングを自動でするためにはApple Generic Versioningが有効化されている必要があります

有効化するためにはiOSアプリ開発で面倒なことを解決していくがわかりやすいので参考にしてください。

バージョンもx.x.xの形式になるようにしましょう。

最後にこれらをソースコードがプッシュされた段階で実行されるようにします。

.gitlab-ci.yamlとすると正しく認識されないので必ず拡張子は.ymlにすること

SaaS runners on macOS

とはいえこれは実際にはテストできません。

何故ならSaaSのGitLab runnersはプランがプレミアム以上でないと実行できないためです。

なので本当に動くかどうかはわからないのですが、概ねこんな感じで書けると思います。

Local GitLab Runner

ということでローカルで実行してみます。

ないならセルフホストで動かせばいいじゃないかということですね。
